  1. What is DadBlogs?
A directory and community of dad bloggers.

  2. I already have a blog, why should I join?
Because we are awesome. We would be more awesome with your participation.  You also get a link to your blog with the "nofollow" attribute removed.

  3. Who can join?
We are looking for dads of all types. Single dads, stay-at-home-dads, dads-to-be, newborn dads, dads to girls or boys only, dads with adult kids, dads with teens/tweens, dads with a dozen kids, working-class dads, white-collar dads, dads that like quality adult beverages - you name it. It would certainly help if you were at least a dad-to-be or a person acting in the capacity of a dad, though it isn't required. Dads in the grandparent stage are also more than welcome. As a matter of fact, you will probably enjoy the status of an elder just by being a grandparent. We could use always some guidance from those who messed up before us.

  4. I'm a mom who would love to watch other dads fumble around and try to run a social network. Can I join?
Sure, we encourage moms to join. Just don't hurt anyone's feelings. Guys are a sensitive lot.

  5. What's in it for me?
You get a warm and fuzzy feeling of being a part of the dad community. You also get a gang of dads to back you up when the moms are after you. Or not, depending on whether or not people like you. All that and more for no charge. Ever.

  6. What's in it for you?
    Money. Duh.

  7. I lost my password and/or username. How do I get them?
Top of the page, click on the little person or key icon.

  8. How can I close my DadBlogs account?
Send the admin an e-mail and we'll delete your account. Be sure to retrieve anything you might want to keep, since we do not keep archives of deleted accounts.

  9. What are your content submission guidelines?
Please refrain from blatant trademark infringement when submitting material to DadBlogs. Parody is not generally considered infringement. Pornographic images, videos or text are not permitted. Other than that, go for it.

  10. How do I report someone for inappropriate behavior?
Send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will address the situation immediately. Each report is handled on a case-by-case basis and may result in anything from a warning to a permanent ban. Site administrators reserve the right to act as necessary in order to keep the peace in the DadBlogs community.

  11. Can I advertise on DadBlogs?
Yes. Please contact us for more information.

  12. I made it to the end and I still have a question. Now what?
If you need more assistance because we are inept FAQ authors, contact us and we'll try to answer your question. The forum is a good place to look for answers, too.
