I am not sure how many dads might be interested in this project, but I think it could rock. Here's the idea, what topic for discussion right now gets tons of hits from search engines? Twilight--that's what. As the National Fatherhood Examiner I was hoping to get thoughts from dads of daughters on the movie and what they think about it and if they think the movies are OK for the daughters to see. Or, if the books are OK for their daughters to read. The main topic of discussion is the general theme of blood, death, depression, isolation and many other underlying themes that seem to run through the EMO culture and also Twilight. If you have a point of view and want to be included in this project let me know. Simply send me a message here at DB.
What you will need to do:
Write a post on the topic on your blog
Maybe respond to some interview questions
Link to other dads taking part in the project
What you will get in return:
A mention and link on the Examiner
Traffic from being part of a team effort
Traffic from being part of something associated with Twilight
So, who's down?
Looking for Dad Bloggers for a group project

Great! It looks like we have a decent group of dad bloggers! I will be back with project info and how we can drive some traffic to each other's blogs on this effort. ~ Joe
Great idea. I would but my daughters are way too young for these movies.
Joe, I know I've been MIA for a few months (this dad thing sure sucks up the time) but I've been resuscitating the blog and need more traffic...I want in on this too...I promise full participation.
I will have to read the book or watch the movie, but I am down with it. I used to be a Goth back in my highshool days, ro I might have a different take on the subject than some others.
Hmm, just looking at like aweek from whenever we get a few more dads in on the project. Hopefully like two weeks out.
