Do any of you remember the long-running show, Little House on the Prarie? Even though it was a good family show I remember thinking that Nellie was quite the "hottie".... mmmm, spicy! Wow! Now that I think about it, in my youth I always found the stand-off-ish, emotionally unavailable type rather exciting. But that's a topic for when I go golfing with my friend who is a Psychologist. (He hates it when I needle him for ad hoc advice... which is why I do it)

My point in bringing up this epic tale of the Ingalls family is that, just when you were enjoying the inspirational culmination of a rather complex and oddly socially relevant dilemma, "Pa" would start crying. Not crying in the normal tearing up manner with a single tear rolling down the face, but in the face twitching, unable to speak, with tears dripping from the chin manner.

I found this very awkward. And to her credit, "Ma" had to suck it up and be the man of the house. She would smile patiently at "Pa" as he tried to pull himself together before the closing credits.

Did Pa always have to cry? Why couldn't he just "tear up"? Maybe Pa could have just pretended to wipe a tear from his eye as he smiled on at the gushing emotions of his wife and kids.  (Did I mention that Nellie was smokin'?)

What is up with all the men crying??

I like to watch the Spanish Channel on Saturday nights. They have a show called "Sabado Gigante" (Gigantic Saturday). The station should call it “Dude with a Woman with ’Chi-Chi's Gigantes’", but, again, I digress. During the show they have commercials for the Spanish soap operas and it is ALWAYS the man who is crying in them! The woman just stands and looks on with her Chi-Chi's trying to escape through the front of her blouse. That’s yet another reason to watch the Spanish Channels...very Chi-Chi friendly.

I read a popular news magazine, recently, and found out that Glenn Beck is now the "Leader of the Voice of Opposition" for the conservatives. What?! Have you listened to, or worse, WATCHED this guy? He can't seem to stop crying! And not even the semi-dignified crying of Pa Ingalls. He looks like a mutant beaver choking on a fish bone. Come on!!!!!

Glenn Beck is the "champion" we are going to send to the front of our armies and challenge Barack "the Dreadnaught" Obama? Did I mention that he CRIES?! I can deal with his over-developed paranoia and even his contrived attempt to appear humble. But, I'm sorry; I cannot stand a cry baby. Maybe someone should tell him to go sit down for a while and pull himself together and let someone more MANLY take "point" for a while, maybe Jack, from Will and Grace is available. Hell, even Grace would be a step in the right direction!

I'm not saying that a man crying is bad. I've cried before! No, really I have... well I've thought about maybe crying! And even if I haven't, there are enough men out there crying who can more than make up for my under-active tear ducts.

I'm only pointing out that if we are going to be stepping into a pitched battle with the liberal left and we send Glenn-da out there to the front of the pack it's only going to encourage Pelosi, et al.

Even Pelosi has a bigger set of "stones" than Glenn-da! It was interesting, however, to see her attempt at crying on camera. They even scheduled a press conference so that they could prove that she really does try to cry. Well be careful, because if you're not convinced, they will schedule another "crying" to prove how sensitive she is. (Just be sure to give the woman 24 hours notice to smoke some "ganja" and get her cry on.)

Please, Team, let's try to find a better "Voice" for the cause! Let’s find a voice that doesn't crack and have eyes welling up in tears every time it speaks the word "freedom". For crying out loud (notice the clever use of the word "crying"), Katie, the Colon, Couric made the chubby dude cry! I wanted to grab the buck-toothed fellow by the shoulders and give a good shaking, "Man Up!", people are watching!

In the words of Forrest Gump, who knew how to have a manly cry, "That's all I have to say about that!"

Sorry, this alone was enough for me: “Dude with a Woman with ’Chi-Chi's Gigantes’"

ROFLMAO!

Dude, every show on that channel should be called Dude with a Woman with ’Chi-Chi's Gigantes. Seriously, it's insane the amount of cleavage and leg that channel shows. It's like a softcore Cinemax.

Regarding Beck, it amazes me how the right allows such a douchebag to have such a large voice. Seriously, Glenn Beck? That guy is a mental case. smilies/wink.gif

I love watching Univision!!! It is very "man" friendly!

And I agree that Beck is a little "off". Despite the crying and the chalkboard he needs to tone the paranoia down or people are going to start thinking he is "smoking the ganja" The right needs to send someone like Marco Rubio to the front of the lines. He's the guy I think is going to be the next Republican Pres. He's the first politician-on-the-rise who has embraced the Fair Tax System.

He's whoopin' up on Crist down in Florida!

Good post. I find it interesting that you stayed away from the politics and took a shot at the politicians. Now that's good politics!

And I thought Nellie was kinda hot. Not my first choice but also not my last. See, I can do good politics as well.
