Fatherhood Friday 39! Where does the time go? So, if you hadn't noticed the updates at dad blogs, now's the time to take them in. Like in the email, the site has been straight up pimped. Everything is looking and working better than ever before. Bottomline, we have been working our tail off pushing buttons and clicking things to make the site look all purty like and we just hope y'all like it.
Next, I am looking for some dad bloggers (with daughters) (mom ones too) to contribute to the Twilight group project. I have extended the deadline by one week because I am awesome and look forward to giving those that participate linky love as hard as I possibly can.
Remember the old "Get Listed at Dad Blogs" menu item. You know the one where you post your feed link and website url and we added them to our growing list of Feeds? Well, that has been revamped and The Feeds will be going the way of the dinosaur. In it's place is the new and improved Blog Directory. So far, this is something that I kept under the radar as I did beta testing, but this thing works. It's cool too. You can add your blog and have it reviewed via the Get Listed at Dad Blogs link. I advise you to do this since it only takes a second and it will provide those that visit our site some valuable information about the dad (and mom) bloggers that are out in the blogosphere.
Oh, and Fatherhood Friday is here! Post your links below--I have decided to nix the themes unless someone really wants me to bring them back. People seemed to get too confused by them and that confused me which lead to a vicious cycle of confusion. Anyways, enjoy Fatherhood Friday and have a great weekend!
Here's what you do when you are a part of Fatherhood Friday, if you don't know already. Our easy to follow guidelines:
- Do post a Dad Blogs badge on your blog and watch your popularity grow exponentially
- Do link to awesome posts on your blog (link directly to the post, not the homepage)
- Do link back to Dad Blogs and Fatherhood Friday
- Do not link to something unrelated like plate tectonics
- Do visit as many other contributors as possible
- Do tweet about your post and add the hashtag "#FatherhoodFriday" to the end of the tweet
* Are you a Twitter Dad? Add your Twitter ID and link to the list. - Do subscribe to the new Dad Blogs feed
