Fatherhood Friday is both a day and a growing community of dads and moms sharing stories, ideas, photos and movies with one topic in mind - fatherhood. In a world that seems happy to deliver a message that dads are incapable buffoons, Dad Blogs is committed to changing that perception. The reality is, as we see it, parents today are more aware of parenting and the impact it has on their children and dads everywhere are becoming more active caregivers. Merry New Year! It's 11:42 pm as I write this on New Year's Eve and the countdown shows are giving me a strange combination of nausea and headaches. There's something about pop music mixed with untalented hosts that makes me a little sick. In spite of the lack of decent programming, I've had a great New Year's Eve. We have played games, ate good food, drank drink, danced, sang and had an all around great time with the family. We sincerely hope everyone has a great 2010. There's something about a new year that rings hope. Hope for new starts. Hope for resolutions to be healthier, happier, smarter. Hope for a stronger economy. Hope for hopes sake. With that in mind the theme for this Fatherhood Friday is hope. What are you hoping for in 2010? What weighs heavy on your mind? I would type more, but my family is beckoning me to watch Rhianna and J-Lo.
Once again, Happy New Year to everyone that visits Dad Blogs. We truly consider you part of our extended family. Cheers!
