Fatherhood FridayFatherhood Friday is both a day and a growing community of dads and moms sharing stories, ideas, photos and movies with one topic in mind - fatherhood. In a world that seems happy to deliver a message that dads are incapable buffoons, Dad Blogs is committed to changing that perception. The reality is, as we see it, parents today are more aware of parenting and the impact it has on their children and dads everywhere are becoming more active caregivers. Warning: shameless yet unsolicited plug forthcoming.

Last week, I received a padded envelope in the mail from Joeprah. Inside the envelope was a freshly pressed copy of his new book, "Daddy, Where's Your Vagina?" with a note in the front cover and a non-rubber stamped signature. How cool is that?

Having been a Joeprah follower and disciple for over two years, I have to say that I've read just about everything he's ever written. I laughed at most of it, but some of it was life-threatening humor. You know, the kind of stuff that makes you laugh so hard that you can't breathe. I've considered suing him for mental trauma and attempted murder, but then I'd have to run the site by myself.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Joe's book is freaking awesome. You need to buy his book for sure and read it out loud with your family, especially with the kids. Of course there's a few things you wouldn't want to read with them, but you should be able to pick them out. Seriously, my kids were talking about the fishing trip where they didn't catch anything for hours after we read it. It's good stuff, so click on the ad over there in the sidebar and get a copy. It's money well spent.

Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for...

Post your links below--This weeks theme--moms. It could be an ode written to your wife. It could be your role as a mom in your house. It could be a haiku that references Mother Theresa.
