Fatherhood Friday is both a day and a growing community of dads and moms sharing stories, ideas, photos and movies with one topic in mind - fatherhood. In a world that seems happy to deliver a message that dads are incapable buffoons, Dad Blogs is committed to changing that perception. The reality is, as we see it, parents today are more aware of parenting and the impact it has on their children and dads everywhere are becoming more active caregivers. I am in a festive mood. Earlier today, I appeared on the Tyra Banks Show with my wife, and I gotta say--she looked hawt! My wife that is. It's funny, she thought she looked cross-eyed and I thought I looked like a big red tomato (they gave me a bright red sweater pullover to wear). We are very self-critical that way. I was actually more nervous to watch myself on TV than I was actually being interviewed--weird right? Anyways, with what I am calling the Tyra Factor my book jumped up the ranks sharply on Amazon (I probably sold like 5 copies or something). Whatever the reason--I finally got ranked. My book got ranked at Amazon! Score!
A good blogger friend of mine reviewed my book and her review is off the charts in awesomeness, and we got our taxes done (yeah, they owe us--big time). All that being said and here we are arriving at the one year anniversary of Fatherhood Friday. A year, in my opinion, means that a tradition has become solidified in the blogging world and is now more of an institution than a passing fad. It's big. A blogging year is like 10 regular years. A lot happens in blogging time.
So, to celebrate the fifty-second week of Fatherhood Friday, we are giving away $25 to two lucky winners. All you have to do is post a your link in the form below. However, you can only post one link (did you read that Que?). One link only. If you post more than one link, we will delete all but one and by 2 PM Saturday, linking will be closed.
