Fatherhood Friday is both a day and a growing community of dads and moms sharing stories, ideas, photos and movies with one topic in mind - fatherhood. In a world that seems happy to deliver a message that dads are incapable buffoons, Dad Blogs is committed to changing that perception. The reality is, as we see it, parents today are more aware of parenting and the impact it has on their children and dads everywhere are becoming more active caregivers. If you don't believe me--check out the posts in our archives.

Year two is now officially underway for Fatherhood Friday at Dad Blogs. If you haven't noticed, the site has new features on the homepage. DB Answers and Mentally Sexy are among the new menu items.
Mentally Sexy Contest is heating up
Speaking of Mentally Sexy, we are starting to get some entries in and I can say the competition is going to be heated. If you haven't got your entry in yet, get to it. Even Daddy Files is part of the mix. This is your chance to show the world why moms think that good dads are hot. Be a part of a fun contest and win an iPod while your at it. Seriously, why not?
Mentally Sexy Judges
We are looking for judges for the Mentally Sexy Contest. Judges need to be able to be objective, fun and consistent. So, if you are interested in being a judge, join the group and find out more.Fellas, have you joined the Mentally Sexy Contest? Why not get your wife to be a judge? Let's rock this thing and have some fun.
DB Answers
Like Yahoo! Answers but better. Why better? Because it's DB Answers--duh. Ask anything from parenting to blogging questions at DB Answers. Are you a know it all? Why not help answer the questions that members post. Bottom line, it's a great new feature and will only get better the more that people use it.
Fatherhood Friday (FF) Notes
Make sure that you link to Dad Blogs in your FF posts, also--when you post your link here at DB, make sure your link points to your Fatherhood Friday post--not your blog's homepage. Make it easy for people to find your Fatherhood Friday contribution. Tweet #FatherhoodFriday as often as you can and visit & comment other FF posts with vim and vigor.
So, get your links up and be good stewards of Fatherhood Friday--onto the links!

I wrote my blog after hearing some disturbing news about one of the biological parents of our children and their older child. Not happy at all with what is happening.
So I decided to write about it.
