Fatherhood Friday is both a day and a growing community of dads and moms sharing stories, ideas, photos and movies with one topic in mind - fatherhood. In a world that seems happy to deliver a message that dads are incapable buffoons, Dad Blogs is committed to changing that perception. The reality is, as we see it, parents today are more aware of parenting and the impact it has on their children and dads everywhere are becoming more active caregivers. TGIFF! Thank goodness it's Fatherhood Friday! I can't believe another week has went by--seriously. Maybe it was the start of summer vacation or the fact that I was away this past weekend, but needless to say this week flew by. Dad Blogs has been jumping lately. There has been a lot of traffic and a lot of activity. Speaking of activity, a lot of people have been asking about Karma. It's either, "What is Karma?" or "How do I get Karma?" or my personal favorite "Can I sell my Karma to another member?" Honestly, it does seem like it has gone under the radar, and perhaps the spanking new layout has drawn attention to Karma more than ever with the Top 50 Dad Bloggers list on the right sidebar of the homepage. If you want answers to these questions, check out this quality read on the topic of Karma and become aware.
To keep Karma on the forefront of our discussion, there have been some changes made to the profile section of Dad Blogs to make Karma a bit easier to understand. Go to your profile now for reference and because I said so. OK, so that was a link to my profile--so what? I also wanted you to see the new application that has just been added, "Recent Visitors." Now you can tell who has been stalking your profile because there is proof. If you didn't see the new application, look for it on your profile--it is a required part of the Dad Blogs curriculum.
Team Dad Blogs would like to say "Thank You" to everyone on the site talking about fatherhood, parenting, relationships and a whole host of other issues that we as a community have interest in. Outsiders are taking notice and that's a good thing. To keep the momentum going we ask a couple things:
- Make sure you have a Dad Blogs badge on your site
- Make sure you twitter your #FatherhoodFriday posts
- Make sure you subscribe to the Dad Blogs feed
Also, are you a Twitter Dad? Add your Twitter ID and link to the list.
Finally, you have one more week to get your Daddy Yak videos in to Team Dad Blogs. The topic? "How are moms and dads different." This could mean parenting style, their hobbies, their preferences in TV programming--whatever. Is Joeprah going to go at this alone yet again? Who else will contribute?

- Do link back to Dad Blogs and Fatherhood Friday
- Do not link to something unrelated like a sale on used tires
- Do visit as many other contributors as possible
- Do tweet about your post and add the hashtag "#FatherhoodFriday" to the end of the tweet
