Fatherhood Friday is both a day and a growing community of dads and moms sharing stories, ideas, photos and movies with one topic in mind - fatherhood. In a world that seems happy to deliver a message that dads are incapable buffoons, Dad Blogs is committed to changing that perception. The reality is, as we see it, parents today are more aware of parenting and the impact it has on their children and dads everywhere are becoming more active caregivers. If you don't believe me--check out the posts in our archives.

Happy Fatherhood Friday! In Maryland it was a beautiful Thursday. The sun was out. High 80s. A great day to get in the pool and enjoy the summer season. Of course my body decided to get sick and I spent most of the day in bed. I am just glad my daughters are reasonably well behaved or else I wouldn't have been able to rest up at all. Don't worry though, I feel much (cough) better (cough) now (sneeze).
This is the portion of the Fatherhood Friday post where I plug something going on at Dad Blogs. Daddy Yak IV is on. Later today I will post the details in full for the next episode. The theme: babies and toddlers in public places. Are you annoyed when parents push a stroller with a fifteen month old into an R film at 9:30pm on a Friday night? Do you hate it when a family refuses to pack up and leave a restaurant even though their toddler started screaming when the were waiting to get seated? Maybe you feel the opposite and that parents have the right to bring their children where ever they choose. Daddy Yak IV is where we can tell the world what fathers (and some moms) think about young children in public places.
Onto the links...
